Aascar Films Ravichandran who produced Dasavatharam which had Kamal Haasan in 10 roles is producing a film after two years titled Velayudham. Vijay will do the lead role in this film.
Genelia and Kajal Agarwal are pairing with Vijay. ‘Subramaniapuram’ Swathi is donning the role of Vijay’s sister. Harris Jayaraj is composing the music. Jayam Raja who had directed Jayam, M Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi and Santhosh Subramaniam is directing this film.
Currently he is directing the film titled Thillalangadi which has Jayam Ravi in the lead role. This shooting of the film is coming to an end. After this he will be directing the Vijay’s film. The shooting of the film is commencing next month. This film will speak about people’s problems and affection for sister.
